We were building a greenfield risk and audit platform to replace two outdated systems. I led the design of the audit workflow, the most critical part of the product. The challenge was creating a unified experience for users coming from two different legacy platforms, each with their own flows and terminology. Through research, rapid iteration and testing, I delivered a workflow that reduced clicks, eliminated external tracking systems and positioned the platform competitively in the enterprise market.

I've spent four years at Ideagen designing risk management, internal audit, and EHS platforms. I work in messy enterprise environments where you've got multiple stakeholders, conflicting needs, and where adoption can make or break the product. I'm obsessed with untangling complexity so that the people using the software can actually do their jobs without fighting the system.
